My story

Introducing Skeletor!This gorgeous orange boy was recently surrendered to us because he was being aggressive towards his previous owner's toddler. Our staff figured, we get it, toddlers are a lot! He'll probably be fine in a new environment! Welllllll...we are eating those words a little bit...Skeletor needs an owner that understands cat language and behavior. He is very happy doing his own thing, loves sleeping in the window, he's a good eater - he doesn't really love other cats and can be a bit of a bully to the lady cats. He likes attention on his own terms - if he is sleeping or resting in a box, leave him be. He does not like to be surprised and will smack you (or worse!) The weird thing is, despite this, he likes pets! If you are brave enough to slowly put your hand on top of his head and skritch him, not only does he stop hissing but he leans into it! Totally loves it! So we think this guy needs a home with a cat whisperer and no kids to stress him out, but also someone that won't take offense if he hisses at you.Skeletor is about 8.5 years old (as of March 2025), snap tested negative for FIV/FELV, up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.
