My story

Jackie is 1 year old 20 lb. Jack Russell Terrier mix. Say hello to Jackie, the ultimate wiggle worm with a heart full of potential! This bouncy and lovable Jack Russell Terrier mix is looking for a forever family who can be patient, understanding, and ready to embrace her unique quirks. Jackie is almost potty-trained, making great progress with crate training, and eager to continue learning with the right guidance. Jackie is full of energy and adores playtime—she loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with one or two similarly sized, easygoing canine companions. However, she might not be the best fit for households with small kids due to her enthusiasm for jumping. A fenced yard is a must for Jackie, where she can safely zoom around and burn off her endless Jack Russell energy. Toys and treats are her favorites, and she’s curious and playful, always keeping things lively. Though she’s timid with new people, Jackie’s love is worth the wait. Once she trusts you, she’ll shower you with kisses and even snuggle up for some quality cuddle time. She does, however, need her own space to decompress, as she can still be reserved in certain situations. With consistent training, Jackie’s leash manners and potty-training will continue to improve! Jackie’s ideal home is a quieter, patient household where she can feel safe and supported.
