My story

Your new best friend! Hi there! I’m Josh, a 1-year-old Terrier mix weighing 30 pounds of pure love. TAP rescued me off the streets of Tijuana, and now I’m ready to find my furever home! I’m scheduled to be neutered soon and am recovering like a champ from some skin issues. When I was found, I had mange, but I’m healing up beautifully! I’m an absolute sweetheart with a well-balanced personality. I have lots of energy and love to play, but I’m also super gentle and calm when it’s time to relax. I’m very loyal to my people and like to keep them safe, especially around unfamiliar males.  Some of my favorite things? Running, playing fetch, rolling around in the grass, and doing my signature army crawl. I adore cuddles, pets, and spending time with my humans - especially kiddos! As far as training goes, I’m a really fast learner.  I’m fully potty- and crate-trained, and I’m working hard on my leash skills and getting better every day. While I have a little bit of separation anxiety, I do just fine in my crate or at home when left alone. I’d do best in a home without other dogs, but I’m curious about cats. Kids would be a bonus, but they’re not a must—I’ll be happy as long as I have someone who loves to walk, run, and play with me. Do we sound like a match?
