My story
Heartworm Prevention is given on the 12th of each month Meet Eunice, the newest arrival to CTDR. This beautiful 8 year old lady was found as a stay in the North Texas area and taken to the nearest shelter in hopes her family would come for her. When that did not happen CTDR was contacted to see if we would have room for her and of course we said yes. Unfortunately Eunice did test positive for those nasty heartworms but due to a heart murmur, the vet recommended just letting her stay on heartworm prevention rather than her go through the grueling treatment.
