My story

Shasta is a breathtaking beauty with a long, luxurious orange coat and striking eyes that seem to hold the wisdom of her years. At 14, this graceful senior lady has known the comforts of a loving home her entire life—until recently, when her owner had to move into a health facility. Now, Shasta is looking for a quiet, compassionate place to call home again. She’s the kind of cat who enjoys calm surroundings, soft blankets, and sunny windowsills. Shasta once lived peacefully with another cat, so she may accept a mellow feline companion—but her ideal match is a patient, cat-savvy adult who understands that true love sometimes takes time. Shasta doesn’t ask for much—just your kindness, some gentle head scritches, and a cozy place to spend her golden years. In return, she’ll give you the quiet company only an old soul like her can offer.
