My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $700 Meet Jam — The Cartoonishly Cute Queen of Toast Town    At just 13 weeks old, Jam is ready to spread joy like… well, jam on toast! This Dachshund x Pug mix is so ridiculously cute, she looks like a Pixar character that accidentally wandered off the screen and into your living room. With her googly eyes, expressive little face, and pint-sized body, Jam is the definition of a walking mood-booster. Honestly, she doesn’t even have to do anything—just standing there looking mildly confused is enough to make everyone burst into laughter.   Jam is all sugar and spice with a whole lotta bounce. She’s got the confidence of a much bigger dog, but in a body that looks like it was squished into the “fun size” setting. Her favorite hobbies include zoomies, dramatically flopping mid-play for dramatic effect, and staring at you with those enormous eyes like she just saw your soul. She’s like a living cartoon—equal parts sass, sweetness, and pure comedy.   She's also the kind of puppy that makes every moment better. Feeling down? Here comes Jam with her sideways head tilt and accidental somersault. Got a boring Zoom call? Jam will pop into frame looking like she’s been pulled out of a claw machine full of plushies. She doesn’t even mean to be funny—she’s just built that way.   Jam is expected to stay in the 8-12 lb range like her petite mama, Toast, and she’s got a personality that’s ten times her size. She’s great with dogs, cats, and humans of all ages. Her daily routine includes tiny adventures, big naps, and even bigger dreams (possibly about cheese).   She’s smart, social, and oh-so-ready for her forever home.   So if you’re craving a little extra joy in your life, don’t wait—Jam is fresh on the menu and she’s not going to last long.
