HENDRIX

My story

This big fellow is Hendrix! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 3/23, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Hendrix as friendly, though a little shy at first. He warms up quickly with kind words and gentle pets. He is a little jumpy and barks in his kennel, but once outside he calms down. Someone must have loved him at one point because he knows several commands including sit, down, and stay. If you have experience with large breed dogs and Hendrix sounds like a good fit for you, please come meet him! Hendrix is approximately 3 years old and weighs 74 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. He is neutered and will be microchipped upon adoption. Hendrix is waiting in run 883; his ID # is 8915. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
