Meet Han – The Gentle and Sweet Jindo Mix! Han is a six-month-old neutered male Jindo mix with a soft brown and white coat, weighing 5.7kg. This little guy is incredibly affectionate and loves both familiar and new people. Out of his littermates, he’s the most cautious and sensitive, but that just means he’s extra cuddly! If something scares him, he’ll tuck himself right into your arms for comfort. He’s great with men and women and does well with children under 13. Han is comfortable being picked up and will even show his belly to strangers, a sign of his trusting nature. When it comes to other dogs, Han is a mix of brave and timid. He finds large dogs a little intimidating, but at the same time, he’s fascinated by them and will try to play—even if it means letting out a little yelp while doing so! Among his siblings, he’s the smallest and often gets tumbled around during play, but he doesn’t let that stop him from having fun. He prefers playing with dogs his own size and tends to avoid high-energy pups, often running to a person for safety instead. Han has shown no strong reactions to cats and can be further tested for compatibility. With a moderate energy level, Han enjoys outdoor adventures but is also the most laid-back of his litter. After playtime, he’s happy to rest quietly. Han is still getting used to wearing a leash, and he can be a bit dramatic if he feels restricted, sometimes letting out a little scream. Right now, he’s practicing wearing his leash while enjoying treats to build positive associations. His future family should expect to take things slowly and gently as he gains confidence with walks. When he’s scared, he needs reassurance and patience, but once he feels safe, he’s as sweet as can be. Food is never an issue with Han—he shares well with both people and other dogs. After a good play session, he usually naps peacefully in his kennel, though once he wakes up, he might let out a few barks to ask to come out again. He’s comfortable in a crate and is adaptable to both indoor pee pad training and outdoor potty habits. He was rescued from a city shelter alongside his mother and siblings, where they faced euthanasia. While some of his siblings have already found their forever homes, Han is still looking for his! With his tender heart and love for cuddles, Han will be a devoted and affectionate companion for a family willing to give him the gentle guidance he needs. If you’re looking for a loving, sensitive pup who will adore you endlessly, Han might just be the perfect match! Send in your application today through our website https://adoptmekoreanrescue.org/adoption-application/ .
