My story

Meet Georgia! Georgia came to us a couple months after her father, Cruz was brought to the shelter. They were sadly left behind in their home by their owners and then they were taken care of by someone else for a short time before ultimately being given to us for a second chance. Georgia is a one-year-old cat with a small amount of kitten energy left in her. In her free time, she likes to run and play with her toys, take naps snuggled up next to Cruz, and meow at you for attention. Though she can be a little timid at first, once she learns that you are offering her some pets, she warms up rather quickly! Georgia has helped Cruz immensely since she came to the shelter. They seemed to have recognized each other right away and have been very close friends ever since. She has taught Cruz that it's more fun to be out and about and get attention from people than it is hiding in a cubby all day!
