My story
Nova is a 17-month-old, 65 lb rescue who overcame severe neglect to become a happy, affectionate, and playful dog. She loves cuddles, sunbathing (“Nova-synthesis”), and her favorite toy, an orange rubber tennis ball. She’s great with other dogs (though she hogs the water), enjoys kids, and is curious about household appliances. While house-trained, she has occasional nervous accidents but does go to the door and make a sound even at night when she needs to go out. She has some separation anxiety, probably due to being abandoned but handles storms well—just dislikes going potty in the rain. Nova is loving, talkative, and goofy, with adorable quirks like hunting bugs, bed hogging (she loves a heated blanket), snoring, and giving hugs.
