My story

Helly’s past wasn’t easy, she came to us after a heartbreaking chapter as a breeding dog, left behind at a Houston shelter. But one gentle hug around a volunteer’s leg changed everything. Since then, she’s been winning hearts left and right and now, she’s ready for her forever!This girl is all about connection. She gives real hugs (like, paws-on-your-shoulders kind of hugs), and her favorite place is anywhere close to her person. She’s playful, goofy, and finds pure joy in zoomies and her ever-growing toy collection.If you’re looking for a sweet, soulful companion with an incredible snuggle game and just enough sass to keep life fun, Helly is ready to meet you. Helly is not reactive to other dogs, so she does great seeing them on walks or out and about!
