My story

If you’ve ever watched Severance and thought, “Wow, that work/life balance seems… dark,” then meet Helly - she’s proof that life after labor (in her case, a heartbreaking stint as a breeding dog) can be joyful, silly, and full of chew toys.This resilient, toy-obsessed pittie was dumped at a Houston shelter, but Helly had other plans. One hug around a volunteer’s leg later, and she had the internet rooting for her.Helly is now decompressing and thriving in her post-corporate (okay, post-shelter) era. Full of zoomies, snuggles, and an undying love for her chew stash, she’s the ideal sidekick for anyone looking to trade grind culture for play breaks and belly laughs.Helly is not reactive to other dogs, so she does great seeing them on walks or out and about!
