My story

Squash is breathing in new beginnings after a tough start. This 2-year-old, 45 lb sweetheart was recently spayed and vaccinated, and while her journey has had some challenges, she's now on the road to a happier, healthier season. Through it all, Squash has remained pure love. She’s the kind of pup who wants to be by your side, soaking up every bit of affection. If you stop petting her, she’ll place a paw on your lap as if to say, “Just a little more, please?” She’s gentle and well-mannered on a leash, enjoying the chance to sniff all the fresh grass and springtime blooms. While she’s still getting used to other dogs, one thing is for sure—she adores people and wants nothing more than to love and be loved. We have recently learned that Squash will need entropion surgery to correct a common genetic eye disorder. For now, Squash is healing, relaxing, and letting her sweet personality shine. As she continues to blossom, we know she’ll make a wonderful companion for the right home. Squash will be ready for adoption soon! **Squash is located in central Colorado. Paid transport can be arranged. Transport costs range from $200-400.** If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application @ https://form.jotform.us/41173109602142. Once approved, home visit and reference checks are also required. If you have further questions outside of this listing, please email chowmail.hccc@gmail.com.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Squash, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
