You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** This gorgeous girl who loves to give her pyr paw is our sweet Pearl, and she is eager to find her own family to hold her paw furever. She is currently in boarding, so she would love either a foster or furever home. In case you are distracted by her beautiful looks, Pearl is a mature girl who is every bit as wonderful as she seems. This smart girl is crate trained, knows “sit” and has excellent leash manners - it is almost as if she is auditing for the next top model every time she is out for a walk. With a long, floofy coat that is as soft as silk, Pearl is a head turner, and we are pawsitive she knows this, because she is quite the social butterfly. Pearl has a strong desire to be with her people, getting pets and ear rubs whenever she can. If you happen to have guests over, well, Pearl LOVES nothing more than to be dotted upon by people. Treats of beef jerky are also welcome though! And being brushed and going for car rides are also high on her list of favorites. Her ideal home will have a secure 5’ fence, humans that are home more often than not, and perhaps a calm male dog to hang out with. She’s a go-with-the-flow pup, enjoying her time with her people, whether that’s indoors or outside - she’s a happy camper wherever she is, so long as there are hands to pet her. This delightful girl is truly a gem, and we have no doubt she will fit into a loving family where she is adored and cherished. Pearl has a comforting soul, and is the living example of unconditional love! If you can find space in your heart for her, we are pawsitive your heart will be overflowing with Pearl's love in no time! If you call or e-mail you are reducing your chances of adopting this animal as we direct our time and energy to first serving those who apply. NYS Registered Non-Profit Rescue # RR102. National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) has been rescuing and adopting out Great Pyrenees since 2006. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. March 31, 2025, 4:39 pm
