My story

Lucy is the kind of dog who makes every moment brighter. Whether she’s zooming around the yard, flopping over for belly rubs, or curling up next to you after a long day, this one-year-old Pitbull mix is pure joy in a petite, wiggly package. She’s equal parts adventure buddy and couch potato, always ready to match your energy—whether that means a hike in the great outdoors or a movie marathon on the couch. If you’re looking for a snuggle bug, Lucy is your girl. She’ll happily burrow into your lap, soaking up all the love and affection you can give. But don’t be fooled—this girl isn’t all naps and cuddles. She’s got a playful, goofy side that shines when she’s chasing after a ball, playing tug-of-war, or showing off her skills with treat puzzles and chew toys. She’s smart, eager to please, and already knows basic commands like “sit” and “down.” With treats as motivation, she’s ready to keep learning. Lucy is house-trained, crate-trained, and well-mannered, though she’s still working on her leash skills—her excitement sometimes gets the best of her. She loves car rides and would be the perfect co-pilot for road trips and adventures. She’s also dog-friendly and great with kids, making her an ideal fit for an active, loving home. At the end of the day, Lucy just wants a family who will love her as much as she loves them. Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
