Nutmeg is in a foster home searching for her forever family! If you are interested in meeting her, copy, paste, and complete the link below. This will be sent to the foster family for follow-up: https://greenvillefosterteam.tiny.us/meetyourmatch You can also call or text the Lifesaving Team at 864-467-3985. Nutmeg is a super cute and silly girl full of energy and love. She’s fully housetrained and enjoys spending time outside in a fenced yard as well as on leash walks. Nutmeg is a playful Velcro dog who loves zoomies, cuddling, and exploring. She can be jumpy and plays rough at times, so she’s best suited for a home with older kids who can help her learn polite manners. Nutmeg is affectionate and goofy, expressing her love by putting her paws on you. She’s still learning to be comfortable when left alone but does well crated and loves car rides once she settles down. She’s had positive on-leash interactions with other dogs—playful, friendly, and respectful—and could be a great match for a home with another pup. — Best suited for: House with a yard (preferably with a doggy door) — Training: Fully housetrained; working on crate training, improving steadily — Alone time: Crated when alone for 2–3 hours; shows some separation anxiety — Leash manners: Walks well but pulls occasionally — Energy level: Medium (gets bursts of energy/zoomies but settles well, especially at night) — Personality: Adventurous, Affectionate, Athletic, Chill, Curious, Enthusiastic, Goofy, Snuggly/lap-dog, Playful, Quirky — Favorite activities: Playing with toys, running/zoomies, cuddling, exploring/sniffing around — Dog interactions: Friendly, playful, gentle, polite; enjoys sharing space and playing with other dogs — Fun facts: Super sweet and loving; loves chew bones and any treat she gets; expresses love by jumping up to greet you Adoption includes vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, microchip, heartworm test, and spay.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Nutmeg, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
