My story

Meet Oliver Joe! 15-year-old Oliver Joe was entrusted to our care in late March after his mom passed away. He is a very sweet, happy boy who acts younger than his years! Oliver rides nicely in the car and is up for fun adventures, including stand-up paddleboarding! He LOVES back scratches. Oliver currently lives in a foster homes, and his Foster Mom shared this rave review: "Oliver, is an absolute gem! We’re fostering him, and what a treasure he is. Though he’s a bit hard of hearing, he responds beautifully to hand claps and sign language — a testament to his gentle intelligence. He’s the sweetest and most well-behaved pup we’ve ever met, radiating calm every single day. He surely deserves a forever home. Oliver is a gentle, easygoing pup who gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and people alike. At 15, he’s still full of youthful energy and spirit—his cheerful, bouncy gait makes every walk feel like an adventure. Oliver is fully potty-trained and will politely go to the door to let you know when nature calls. While he's not a lap dog, Oliver loves affection and gladly accepts pets and scratches. For rest and relaxation, Oliver prefers open door covered crates with soft, fluffy blankets. He occasionally naps in a heated pet bed or a cozy pet pillow when the mood strikes. Oliver has a calming influence on our dog during walks. His presence helps ease his anxiety and makes each outing a more relaxed and enjoyable experience for all of us.
