My story

Meet Savannah Jo! 15-year-old Savannah and her brother Oliver were entrusted to our care in late March after their mom passed away. Over the past 3+ months, while on-site and in a foster home, we've gotten to know them very well - their sweet personalities, resilience, and all the ways they are different! While we would love to see Savannah and Oliver find a forever home together, what matters most is that they spend their remaining years as cherished family members. Savannah is back in her previous foster home, and Oliver is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling with a different family. Both are doing great! Here's what we've learned about Savannah since becoming a Frosted Face: Savannah is a quiet, sweet, super mellow girl. Although, she is blind and deaf, she had no trouble mapping my home and yard. Savannah comes up often to boop my leg for pets or to get picked up. She loves to be held, especially cradled like a baby, and she sleeps through the night in my bed. Savannah has an uncanny sense of what's happening around her. She knows when it's meal time and goes to the kitchen. When my pack is active, she pops up to find out what's happening. Savannah rides well in the car, doesn't have any separation anxiety, doesn't bark, and eats well. Savannah will keep you entertained with her bed arranging skills!
