This handsome 50 lb mixed-breed pup had a rough start—found dumped and malnourished at a shelter property in Texas, scared and alone. But fast-forward to today, and you’ll meet a happy, healthy, tail-wagging lovebug who’s left those hard days behind and is ready to write the next chapter of his story—with YOU. Vance is a total sweetheart. He adores people, gets along great with other dogs, and is wonderful with children, though he'd prefer a household with older kids because he’s a little too enthusiastic for toddlers. He’s playful, affectionate, goofy, and smart—a total catch! He loves to cuddle, happily flops into your lap like a 50 lb teddy bear, and is always ready to be your sidekick. This boy is food-motivated and highly trainable—he already knows “sit” and “come,” is housebroken, and crate trained. Like any young pup, he still chews and has a mouthy moment now and then when he gets amped up, but he’s learning fast. He’s also got a high prey drive, so squirrels and rabbits beware! Vance is a dog who just wants to love and be loved. He’s playful with bursts of puppy energy, but he settles beautifully when it’s time to relax. Whether you’re up for a hike or just want a snuggle buddy for movie night, Vance is your guy. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $415.
