SHERA

My story

Sometimes we`re amazed at how a dog who is left to fend for itself on the street can maintain such a sweet disposition--and Shera is definitely one of those dogs! Calm, a little shy at first, but smart and spunky, Shera is so good with other dogs that she was kenneled with others to be a comfort to them here at the shelter, and she has cat experience, too! That said, she was adopted once but returned because the resident dog didn’t like having to share his space—but that wasn’t Shera’s fault. This pretty girl is housebroken but as an older dog does need a consistent schedule, and is very chill in the home after some initial nervousness. Shera craves attention from people but she is not clingy or demanding at all, and is calm and polite with respectful children. Her favorite things are morning walks, Nylabones, stuffed Kongs and belly rubs. Beautiful Shera is more than ready to be a loving, lifetime family member. Maybe yours?
