My story

Meet Lua 💜 At 8 years young, Lua is a sweet senior gal with so much love still to give. She was adopted 5 years ago but recently returned to the shelter after her family faced a medical crisis and could no longer care for her. Lua is wonderful with kids and does well with most dogs—especially those who don’t mind her motherly instincts (she loves to play “Mom” in the pack). She’s easygoing, affectionate, and happiest when she’s part of a family🥰 She does take daily thyroid medication for life, but it’s super affordable—and she’ll do anything for her favorite treat: a little cream cheese with her pill!
