Meet Maggie – Your New Adventure Buddy and Cuddle Queen! Looking for a sweet, playful, and ridiculously smart companion? Maggie might just be your perfect match! This beautiful 1-year-9-month-old girl weighs in at 51 pounds and is the whole package: affectionate, full of fun energy, and eager to learn. Maggie is a certified "zoomie queen" who LOVES to explore, run around, and play with toys. She’s toy-motivated, treat-savvy, and sharp as a tack—she already knows “sit,” “down,” and “paw,” and is always up for more training (especially if there are snacks involved… she’s got a nose for the good stuff!). She walks well on leash at a nice pace and happily hops into the car for her next adventure. Maggie is curious about new people and greets them with happy wiggles—she gets excited but is gentle, rarely jumping up. After a good play session or a walk, she’s all about snuggles and chill time. As an excellent house guest, Maggie quickly makes herself comfy, curling up on the bed pillows for a long, peaceful nap. She's affectionate and calm in a home environment, soaking up love and giving it right back. Maggie’s ready to be your best friend, jogging partner, playmate, and snuggle buddy all in one. Come meet her and let her wiggle her way into your heart! As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
