My story

Lucy is a 2-year-old Lab x Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a personality that shines! She was originally found as a stray, so we don’t know much about her past, but what we do know is that she’s a sweet, affectionate, and eager-to-please pup who’s ready to find her forever home. Lucy absolutely adores people and thrives on attention, whether it's playtime, training, or just snuggling up next to her favorite humans. She’s an engaged and enthusiastic companion who wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing. Whether you’re heading out for a walk, playing in the yard, or simply lounging around, Lucy will be right by your side, soaking up the love. Since she likely didn’t have much structure in her early life, Lucy is still working on her manners and will need a patient adopter who can continue her training. She’s a smart girl and motivated to learn, so with positive reinforcement and consistency, she’s sure to pick up the skills she needs to be the best version of herself. Lucy would do well in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and love. She’s looking for someone who will invest in her training and help her build confidence as she continues to adjust to home life. While we’re still learning about her preferences with other animals, slow introductions to potential doggy friends would be best.
