My story

Meet Bull Nettle, a 6-month-old pup with a story as wild and spirited as the plant he’s named after, Bull Nettle has proven that even the roughest roots can lead to the most beautiful blooms. Bull Nettle came into Paws Humane alongside his parents and four sisters—he was the only boy in a bouquet of girls, and life wasn’t easy at first. He weathered a tough beginning, but through it all, his gentle soul and sunny personality have only grown stronger. Don’t let his name fool you—this little guy may be named after a plant with a prickly reputation, but Bull Nettle himself is all softness and sweetness. In playgroups, he’s known for being a floppy, goofball, happy to roll with the other puppies as long as he’s having a good time. He’s the kind of dog who brings the sunshine with him, wagging his tail and melting hearts. Bull has already overcome a bump in the road—a case of "cherry eye", a common condition that caused swelling in his third eyelid. Thankfully, it’s been repaired during his neuter, he’s also up to date on all his vaccines and microchipped. Like any young sprout, Bull Nettle is still growing—he’ll need some help with manners and training, but his heart is in the right place. With a little patience and a lot of love, he’s going to blossom into the most loyal, loving companion you could ever ask for.
