My story

Meet Kaiya! This sweet, playful pup who is sure to bring joy and love to any home! She’s a bundle of energy who loves playing with other dogs, chasing toys, and chewing on her favorite treats like bully sticks, lamb horns, and bones. She's got a gentle temperament. Kaiya is a clever girl who already knows some commands like “Sit” and “Kisses” and is working hard on “Stay.” She’s also potty training like a champ—she sleeps through the night, goes outside first thing in the morning, and is learning to hold it until she gets outside. Though she doesn't use a crate, she does wonderfully without one. Kaiya has displayed fear of a crate. Before you head out, she’ll go potty outside and then settle on the couch, looking out the window, waiting for your return. This little one is fantastic with other dogs and feels more at ease with them than with people. She has met kids and is a little shy around them, but warms up quickly —she allows them to pet, hold, and sit near her without issue. She’s great with small and large dogs and enjoys being around them. She’s a mix of both high and low energy. A home with a somewhat active person who enjoys daily or frequent walks would be a perfect match. She loves to follow and learn from other dogs, making her a quick study. She walks great on a leash when she’s with other dogs. Sometimes, she even tries to play with the leash during walks, adding some fun to the routine! Applicants MUST have an adult dog in the home! Your adult dog will accompany you during the meet and greet, and will help select the best match based on who gravitates toward you and your dog. It’s all about chemistry and connection. Adoption fee is $325 and covers spay/neuter when age appropriate, vaccines to date, deworming, microchip, and a clean bill of health.
