My story

Hey there! Guess you can say I'm a lucky guy because I pulled the best hand when I was pulled from the shelter. My name is Poker and I am learning the ins and outs of the world. I'm a timid guy, and I will need a person or family who is patient with me and helps me build my confidence. I am eager to learn, so together we can teach me that the world is not a scary place. I do love other dogs and would love to be part of a fur pack. I thrive on learning and taking cues from my fur siblings. I have a feline sister with my fosters; we get along, but she doesn't have much interest in me. I am good in my crate; that's my safe space. Sunbathing is my jam, and I love going for walks but need help learning and perfecting my leash manners. Just think of all the fun we can have strolling through the neighborhood together! I would love a yard to frolic in with fur siblings, maybe some human ones too, but only if they are older and understand my needs. I am a sweet and gentle guy that needs a little help and guidance to get me over my timid humps. Patiently waiting, Poker
