My story

Meet Surprise! ??At 2 years old and 47 pounds, Surprise is a medium-energy sweetheart who’s ready to find a forever home filled with love and understanding. She earned her name thanks to her expressive eyes — she always looks delightfully shocked to see you, like you`re the best part of her day (and you probably are!).Surprise is a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe and settled, her affectionate side shines. She’s a total staff favorite, and it’s easy to see why — she’s sweet, playful, and full of potential. She enjoys the outdoors and is learning to walk on a leash, taking in the world around her with curiosity and joy.When it comes to other dogs, Surprise shows playful interest and confidence when initiating greetings, but she can get a bit unsure when approached. With time and positive experiences, she’s continuing to build her confidence. She’s also very treat-motivated, which makes her a great candidate for continued training and bonding.Surprise is the kind of dog who blossoms in a patient, loving home — one that will help her feel secure and appreciated for the quirky, lovable companion she is.
