My story

Hi, I’m Butter, a charming feline with a golden heart. I found my way to the shelter after being surrendered with my brother. Our past was a bit uncertain, but my gentle demeanor and quiet strength caught the attention of the shelter staff and visitors. When my brother and I first arrived, it was a bit of a tough transition. But the bond we shared helped us adjust. While he’s more outgoing, I’ve always shown my calm, loving nature in quieter ways—curling up for gentle naps in the sunlight, seeking affection from anyone who approached, and purring softly when I’m given attention. Though my past is a mystery, I’m excited for the future. The shelter has been my safe haven, a place where I’ve been able to heal, grow, and experience the love of new human connections. Now, I’m ready for the next chapter of my life, hoping to find a forever family who will embrace me for the gentle, loving cat that I am. My golden fur, quiet presence, and kind soul are sure to bring warmth to any home lucky enough to welcome me. Could that be with you?
