My story

Meet Merrie, a gentle kitten with a heart full of love. Though she's a bit shy when it comes to humans, her affection for her fellow felines knows no bounds. She thrives in the company of other cats and her playful, friendly nature shines through in their presence. She arrived at the shelter with her brother, Joe. While it is not required that they be adopted together, we want to let adopters know of their connection. Merrie's shyness is not a sign of indifference, but a testament to her sensitive spirit. She simply needs time and patience to warm up to new people. In a loving home, she will undoubtedly flourish. Adopt Merrie and give her the chance to experience the joy of a forever family. Her gentle, loving spirit will surely fill your home with warmth and joy. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com.
