My story

Edvard has made big progress in the past couple months. He occasionally forgets his manners and jumps up or play bites, but he is usually just escited and he isn't too rough with me. He enjoys playtime with his foster sister and he really tries to share toys, but she would rather wrestle or run. Edvard can be possessive of food, he did get upset with his foster sister a couple times when food was nearby, but no actual fight. I have been using a food puzzle when he eats, he figured it out quickly, but it helps slow him down a bit. He is getting much better on walks and is less focused on strangers. He is a very athletic and can get the zoomies when he hasn't got enough playtime or exercise. I think he could do very well on an agility course or with someone who needs a running buddy. He is still very anxious about new people in and around the house and gets scared, it would be best to have him meet new people in neutral territory and give him the opportunity to approach them when he is comfortable. He is completely housebroken, but he has had a couple accidents on car rides, he gets nervous and I plan to take him on more short practice rides to get him comfortable in the car. Once he gets to know you, Edvard is such a sweet little guy and he loves belly rubs and snuggles and he gets a cute little smile when he gets relaxed.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Edvard, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
