My story

My name is Gibson, and I’m a 2-year-old boy who was rescued from a cruelty case involving dog fighting. I don’t know much about kindness from my early life, but I do know this: I LOVE people, and all I want is someone to love me back. I’m a pro at snuggling. Seriously - just sit down, and I’ll be in your lap before you even get comfortable. I’d really prefer to be your only dog so I can have all your love to myself. I’ve never met a cat, but with patience and a slow intro, I might do okay. One of my favorite things is tagging along on adventures. I ride great in the car and love seeing the world with my people by my side. Right now, I'm struggling to keep my head up in the shelter environment. It's scary, stressful, and I don't belong here. If you’re looking for a dog who will be your shadow, your co-pilot, and your best friend - come meet me. I believe there’s a better life out there for me - and when I find it, I’ll give my whole heart in return.
