Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet Emma Leigh! Emma is a sweet, friendly 5 year old Mini Poodle who survived her time in a puppy mill. She was rescued and we had her spayed so that she will never have to breed again. Emma warmed up to her foster mom almost immediately, which is such a beautiful thing to see in a mill dog. She is great with other dogs too, and does not have a mean bone in her body. She has done extremely well with potty training! Emma just wants to be petted and loved on. She is a very quiet little dog, but also loves to run and play with her pack of foster siblings. She is more on the submissive side, and we would love to see her go to a home that has another friendly dog to help her continue to gain confidence. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
