My story

Location: Forest Lake, MN Meet Twinkie – The Low-Key Lovebug Twinkie is a gentle, low-energy sweetheart who simply wants to be near his people. His favorite place? Curled up on your lap for hours of peaceful napping. He's a quiet companion who loves to observe what you're doing and be part of your day, even if it's just from the coziest spot nearby. House-trained and cat-friendly, Twinkie occasionally treats everyone to his signature deep, howly “oooo” bark—especially when he's feeling chatty around feline friends. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly with a bit of affection, especially from the neighborhood kids he’s gotten to know and adore. Twinkie is also a clever pup—he’ll open a door if he can (or give you that look if he can’t) when he’s ready to head outside. He’s food-motivated and not above a little counter surfing if you’re not paying attention. But mostly, Twinkie is content just lounging in a sunny spot or cuddling close with his signature floppy ears and sweet, soulful demeanor. Twinkie is looking for a calm, loving home where he can be your loyal shadow and lap warmer for life. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
