My story

Meet Oswald! 🐾 8-Year-Old Boykin Spaniel | Neutered Male | 35 lbs Oswald is the total package — handsome, friendly, and full of life! This adorable Boykin Spaniel is a social butterfly who gets along with dogs, cats, kids — truly everyone he meets. He’s gentle, loving, and always ready to be part of the action. Oswald’s absolute favorite thing in the world? Swimming! He’s a true water baby and would be in heaven with an in-ground pool where he can safely splash and paddle around. A home with easy pool access (gentle steps or a beach-style entry) would be his dream come true. While Oswald is mellow and affectionate, he does have a bit of an adventurous side. He loves to explore — so much so that it once landed him in trouble and he was hit by a car. He underwent major surgery and multiple procedures to get him back on his feet, and thanks to great veterinary care (and a lot of heart), he’s now able to run, swim, and play just like any other dog. However, he will always have a slight limp, and to keep him feeling his best, he should stay lean, remain active, and be on a high-quality joint supplement for life. His future home must also be mindful of his explorer tendencies — a secure fence is a must, and families should take precautions around doors and entryways (think: screened-in porches, baby gates, etc.), as Oswald is quick and curious. 💦 Good with all people and pets 💦 Ideal home has a secure fence and a pool 💦 Recovered from major injury — needs to stay lean and on joint supplements 💦 Loves affection, swimming, and sunshine Oswald is ready to find a family who will keep him safe, let him swim to his heart’s content, and shower him with the love he deserves.
