Gorgeous, Curious, Fan of Cat TV Callie Torres likes to take her time—but once she feels safe, her personality comes right out! When she first arrived at the cattery, she quietly explored her new space, carefully sniffing every corner (and every roommate), soaking it all in. She’s a fan of ear scritches and will lean her head right into your hands when she’s ready. Set up a video on your phone and she’ll be so happy. She LOVES cat tv, she boops the screen with her nose and peeks behind the phone trying to find out where the mice went.. Callie might not be the first to demand attention, but spend a little time reading to her or hanging out nearby, and she’ll warm up with soft purrs, gentle leg rubs, and a perfectly-timed biscuit stretch. By the end of the day, she might even gift you with a tiny meow and a sweet, snuggly moment. Callie Torres has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption.
