Meet Spook – A Loyal and Intelligent Kelpie-Heeler Mix Looking for a Fresh Start! Spook is a handsome, five-year-old Kelpie-Heeler mix who is ready to start a new chapter in life. After losing his owner, he found himself in need of a loving home, and now he’s looking for a patient and understanding adopter who can help him build trust and confidence. Spook was previously a backyard dog, with limited interaction outside of his owner. Because of this, he can be a bit cautious when meeting new people. However, once he learns that he is safe, his intelligent, loyal, and devoted nature shines through. He will need slow introductions and a little patience, but for the right person, he will make an incredible companion. As a Kelpie-Heeler mix, Spook comes from breeds known for their sharp minds, strong work ethic, and unwavering loyalty. With guidance and positive experiences, he will thrive in a home that understands herding breeds and their need for mental stimulation and structure. Despite his initial shyness, Spook has so much potential to be a wonderful companion. He is highly trainable, eager to bond with his person, and would do best in a home where he can gradually learn to trust and enjoy new experiences. A calm environment with a secure yard and an adopter willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace would be ideal.
