My story

Runa is a Norse name meaning “secret lore”, but there’s no secret here- Runa is a very good boy and the whole world needs to know! This young, bouncy, and very enthusiastic fella is looking for a family who will let him tag along on their adventures and be the best copilot ever. During a brief foster stay Runa was crate trained and seemed to be housetrained as well. His foster said that he likes toys and chew bones, loves people, and is a friendly, sweet, very good dog who is food motivated. That means training will be a breeze! In another foster home Runa did well with an eight-year-old child and was playful with another resident dog. He was again housebroken, was great on leash and was described as friendly, loving and curious.“Runa is wonderful. He’s an awesome mix of playful energy and chill, snuggly calm. He really loves playing and hanging out in the yard when it’s cool enough. We love and will miss him.”Here`s what one volunteer at the shelter said:“Runa is such a fun pup! He did a bunch of laps as soon as he got to the yard. He gave me the biggest smile every time he zoomed by. After that, he was showing off his tricks (sit, paw, watch me) and taking treats gently. We had some good cuddles too.”Runa loves rope toys and running through the shelter’s agility course (ducking through tires is his specialty). He’s also a cuddly boy who loves belly rubs. He would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Runa today!!
