STELLA – Waiting for Her Happy EndingStella is a 6-year-old Pit Bull/Cattle Dog mix with a gentle heart and a playful spirit. She’s incredibly sweet, loves children, and always greets people with a wagging tail and lots of kisses.But Stella’s life hasn’t been easy.She spent much of her time confined to a basement—sometimes crated, sometimes free-roaming—and was often left alone for up to 20 hours a day. Loud noises and thunderstorms still make her nervous, and she’s learning to trust that the world can be a safe place.Despite it all, Stella is resilient. She’s:Potty trainedHas medium energy – playful in the yard, but also enjoys relaxingIndependent yet affectionate – she’ll check in for cuddles, then trot off to exploreLoving with kids and full of personalityShe can be a little too forward and rough when meeting other dogs, so she’d likely do best as the only pet. She previously lived with another dog (Flash, a German Shepherd who was recently adopted!), but we think Stella would thrive in a calmer home where she can be the center of attention.She’s is perfect to us!
