My story

I'm Sugar. Living up to my name, I'm a sweet as my name implies. I'm a 6 year old Beagle girl that spend my life as a breeder dog having puppies.  When I first came to Molly's I was so scared of everything, especially people. The only thing I really liked was other dogs. BUT, I've come a LOONG Way since those days and am now a little cuddle bug with my peeps. I'm still a little shy, but warm up quickly once my trust is earned. I like dogs and cats and kids are Ok, but I prefer older ones that aren't as loud and scary and who don't jump around so much.  Since coming here I've had "3" surgeries. First 2 were to be spayed and have an inguinal hernia repaired. Unfortunately, I had to have a 3rd surgery to repair the inguinal hernia surgery again. BUT, this time it healed perfectly, so now I'm finally ready for a home.  I am crate trained and good on leash. but a fenced in yard is preferred for me. I like to stroll around outdoors and soak up some sunshine, but my favorite spot is my cozy beddy or snuggled next to a lap.  So if you're looking for a calm, quiet pooch to call your own, then I'm your girl.  For more about me, email Mollysplacepets@aol.com  P.S. Donations are always welcome to help furkids like me.  To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash.
