My story

Please contact Lauren McCarty (laurenmc@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.Handsome Tommy Boy needs a forever home!TOMMY BOY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!    Name: Tommy Boy      Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Long Hair  Best Guess for Age: 2 years (Est. DOB: 3/08/2022)  Sex: Male Approximate Weight: 9.3lbs Coloring: Grey   Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With:  With proper integration, Tommy Boy    will likely get along with other cats, dogs & kids! We're happy to help with tips & tricks. Currently Living at: Foster in the DC area  I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Panther, and I am a sweet kitty! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself. What My Foster Says About Me:  6/30 update: Tommy boy has been continuing to come out of his shell everyday. He loves treats and food more than anything. A close second is napping in his favorite cozy bed and playing with his foster sister. He loves to play and can entertain himself if need be. He loves to chase after toys. While he doesn’t snuggle too often, he will sleep at the foot of your bed every night! He has excellent litterbox habits too. If you’re looking for an easy going cat who is a bit more independent, this is the perfect cat for you!      update 5/27: Tommy boy has been covering his urine just fine now and am wondering if it was just some temporary stress from being gone that day. He has been super sweet lately and likes to come up for pets much more often. He also likes to sleep at the end of my bed. He loves to play and would really do well with another energetic cat. I think Reyna might be a bit too old for his energy level. He is a talkative cat. He would love a home with lots of dark, cozy places for him to nap and lounge around in. He is not much of a window cat so I think he would do well in a smaller home or apartment. (I don’t think he’s used the cat trees once lol) What the Shelter Says About Me: Hi there, I’m Tommy Boy! I might be a little shy when we first meet, but don’t let that fool you—I have a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. Once I learn that you’re a friend, I’ll happily soak up all the pets and gentle affection you have to offer. There’s nothing better than a cozy spot by your side and a soft touch to remind me I’m safe and loved.I’m looking for a patient and kind person who will give me the time I need to come out of my shell. If you have a quiet home and a gentle heart, I think we could be the perfect match. Let’s take things slow, and I promise you’ll earn a loyal and loving companion for life! TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this cat is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together), which includes the cost of routine vetting.  If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online   at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat  Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the cats we have for adoption.
