My story

Dexter and Kiera are a lifelong bonded pair who are ready to find a home where they can stick together and keep spreading joy like only they can.These two have been side by side since puppyhood and bring out the best in each other. They are housebroken, well-mannered in the home, and have always had access to a doggy door to go outside as needed. Dexter knows several commands (sit, stay, paw) and Kiera walks nicely on a leash, letting out little whines when she spots other dogs. Both have done well at the park and daycare, often grouped with the smaller dogs for playtime.They’re currently living with a foster family (and two cats!), where they’ve settled in beautifully. Every day when their foster comes home from work, they circle with joy—wagging, wiggling, and in Dexter’s case, letting out the cutest happy grunts and chuffs. If you lie on the floor with them, they`ll sandwich you with snuggles—Dexter usually gets there first, but Kiera’s not shy about tossing your arm off him to claim a few pets for herself. Their personalities shine brightest when they’re together, and it’s clear they find comfort in each other.Dexter and Kiera have lived peacefully with other dogs, passed their cat tests, and love a good bath or nail trim. They’ve also lived with a young child but would do best in a calm home where any kiddos understand how to respect their space—especially when they’re curled up in their beds.Kiera depends on Dexter when the world feels overwhelming, so these two must be adopted as a pair.
