Meet Douglas! This handsome, 4-year-old sweetheart is the full package—friendly, playful, and incredibly affectionate. Douglas is a total cuddlebug who wants to be near his people at all times. Whether he`s leaning in for snuggles or following you from room to room, he’s the definition of a loyal companion.Douglas loves kids and has done well meeting children as young as six! He’s super playful with them, though he doesn’t always realize his own size—so a bit of supervision is helpful to prevent accidental topples during playtime.When it comes to other dogs, Douglas gets very excited on leash and would benefit from slow introductions with any resident pups. A meet-and-greet is required to ensure it`s a good match! He’s also a bit unsure of loud noises like thunder and will need patience and comfort during storms.Douglas is potty trained and knows basic commands, making him an easy addition to the right home. Crates are still a little scary for him, so he’ll need time and encouragement to adjust to one if needed. When he plays, he can sound a little growly—but don’t worry, that’s just his playful way of expressing joy!Douglas was surrendered by his previous owner and is ready to start a new chapter full of love, playtime, and cuddles.
