Sour Neon Skittles has developed and upper respiratory infection while at the shelter. She is not eating, and while Skittles enjoys some petting, she is not a fan of handling for her treatments. Sour Neon Skittles would do best outside of the shelter environment to reduce her stress and allow her body to heal.What my friends at ACC say about me:I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I'm sensitive and shy. Yet Sour Neon Skittles is coming around, allowing staffers to treat her to cheek rubs and yummy snacks while showing some shyness and hesitancy. This elegant lady would do well with new pet parents who give her time to warm up to her new surroundings so her comfort and confidence can shine.
