My story

Introducing Happy! He was brought to the shelter on 3/12 because he was on a journey to find his way home. Happy is only 3 years old and weighs a mere 55lbs. Volunteers describe him as sweet and cute. His photo shoot depicts him as a very happy baby. He looks so happy which is why we have named him Happy! He is a handsome fellow! Wouldn't you agree? Happy is a smart kiddo as he knows how to sit when asked and he may know more. He takes treats very gently. He can be a little strong on the leash but with a lot of patience, devotion, love and a refresher course in leash training, he will have that mastered in no time! Please take some time and visit with him in Run 825; his ID is 8674. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family and keep that precious baby...HAPPY!!!! Watch this happy boy in his video. Happy is current on vaccines, neutered and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Happy is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
