My story

Quincy is a gentle soul with a heart full of love. At just a year and a half old, he carries himself with a calm, thoughtful presence that makes him seem older and wiser than his age. Despite whatever hardships he may have faced before coming to the shelter, Quincy’s capacity for kindness is remarkable. He greets people with quiet affection and a slow, happy wag of his tail, soaking up every bit of attention with quiet gratitude. Quincy isn’t one for toys or rough play—instead, he finds joy in the simple things: soft pets, kind words, and tasty treats. Even when solving a food puzzle, he takes his time, working it through carefully and gently. He takes treats from your hand with a delicacy that says he trusts you, and he’s in no rush. Now on medication and beginning to feel better, Quincy is slowly starting to blossom. Every day he perks up a little more, showing glimpses of his sweet personality and easygoing nature. He may not seek the spotlight, but Quincy is the kind of dog who quietly works his way into your heart—and stays there. He’s ready to find a home where he can feel safe, loved, and truly at peace.
