While she may be a little timid at first, don’t let that fool you—once she feels safe and secure, Nova begins to blossom into a loyal and loving companion who looks to her person for reassurance and guidance. Nova is treat-motivated and loves a good play session with her favorite toys. Her sweet and playful side shines through once she feels comfortable, making her a joy to be around. She’s already a pro on the leash, walking calmly by your side and taking in the world at her own pace. She’s also had positive experiences with other dogs, and could be a wonderful match for a calm and friendly canine companion who can show her the ropes. If you’re patient, kind, and ready to help a shy but loving pup come out of her shell, Nova just might be your perfect match. Come meet this special girl and help her write her next chapter—one filled with love, confidence, and plenty of tail wags. As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match.
