Sterling

My story

A26468 Sterling is a grey with white colored, approximately 3-year-old, 52-pound, neutered male, Pitbull. He entered the shelter as a stray on 03-21-2025 and was altered by our medical staff. Sterling is a friendly, eager and excited boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is a friendly, excited boy who loves people and getting attention. Saying he has a happy tail wag at everyone approaching or walking by his kennel. He was easy to leash and excited to go for a walk. He does pull a little bit on the leash, but not bad. He was happy and friendly with everyone we met during our walks. If we stopped walking, he immediately came back to you for love and affection. He has had some training and will “sit” and “shake” upon command and he is treat motivated. He does get excited when other dogs walk by his kennel, but not barking, just up with a tail wag. When we went by them out for our walks there was no aggression seen. We would recommend a meet and greet if you have another dog. Sterling will be a fun-loving family member in his new forever home.
