My story

Experienced cat owner would be best suited for this gal! Mandy was a long term resident at the local animal shelter and we were delighted to give her a "freedom ride" into a foster home and out of the shelter. She is as sweet as can be and will give you those big beautiful green eyes and rub against your legs so you know it is time for pets and chin scratchies. She will need a quiet space of her own and a safe space to decompress before she will want attention!! You MUST be able to have a safe, calm environment. Mandy is a sweet and cuddly cuddle-bug and purr machine who absolutely adores being petted and will happily follow you around the house just to be near you once she settles in. She will play with toys but is just as content to curl up on your lap for a relaxing snuggle session. She is a great communicator and is talkative, and will occasionally give you a love bite too! She is agreat addition to a family looking for a devoted companion! Because she communicates with love bites please be mindful of this if you are interested in adopting her and we do not recommend her to a home with small children.  She's an absolute sweetheart in her current foster home.  She would likely do best as an only cat (also no dogs) as she prefers to lounge, relax, and rub up against your legs for attention.   Finders Keepers Cat Rescue is a foster home-based rescue in Clarksville, TN, and our cats are in private foster homes in the Clarksville area. Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or have another cat already in the home. An adoption application is required to meet our kitties. Once your application is reviewed and upon approval, we will then provide the information to schedule a meet and greet with their foster.   We are a 100% volunteer run organization and have varying hours, as our volunteers work during the day, our goal is to process adoption applications within 24-72 hours, please be patient with us!
