My story

Cats may have nine lives but thank goodness Luna has been given a second chance at life. She is an almost snow-white Husky mix who was rescued, along with her pups, from a high kill shelter so she could become the wonderful family companion she deserves to be.Luna is a big girl at 54 pounds and as is typical for her breed. A high energy gal like Luna is always ready for action. She will be a great exercise buddy as she is ready and eager to run, jump, hike or whatever the day and the great outdoors call for. She also loves to eat! Luna enjoys her meals and treats. Luna has a wonderful time with dogs. Luna does not appreciate the company of cats.Luna is doing well and has mastered her house and crate training. Lease training is still in progress. Huskies are extremely intelligent, and given her enthusiasm for treats, consistent positive training will help Luna become a well-behaved house companion so long as she gets plenty of exercise. Luna will love learning new games, the more athletic and challenging the better. Although Luna is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. If you are eager to get plenty of exercise and fresh air with this wonderful girl, come meet Luna and get ready to rumble. The adoption fee for Luna is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.June 26, 2025, 6:33 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Luna, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
