My story

Mamba is a sweet and sensitive 5-year-old boy who found his way to us after his previous owners had a baby and felt he might struggle with the changes in the household. Mamba does have some personality quirks that need a little extra patience and understanding. He’s not fond of sudden movements and prefers not to have his ears touched. When he arrived at the rescue, he had a pretty bad face and ear infection, so it’s possible that some of his reactivity stemmed from pain or discomfort.With a slow, gentle approach and the right space to feel comfortable and safe, Mamba opens up and shows his true, affectionate nature. He’s a wonderful little guy who enjoys the company of people he trusts and gets along well with other dogs. However, due to his sensitivity, he would do best in a home without young children and with someone who can be patient as he learns to trust.Mamba is looking for an experienced, understanding owner who can give him the time and attention he needs to flourish.
