My story

Meet Sweets! This 2-year-old, 30-pound cuddle bug lives up to his name — he’s as sweet as they come! Sweets is a friendly, affectionate boy who loves giving kisses and saying hello to everyone he meets. With his calm, low-to-medium energy and gentle personality, he’s an easy dog to love. Sweets walks beautifully on leash and is non-reactive to other dogs on walks. He’s also impressively quiet, although he has let a few barks out recently in his foster home! He rides well in the car and already knows how to sit like a pro. While he’s still working on his potty training, he’s making progress and is eager to learn. This smart pup thrives on enrichment and toys, and he’s easily redirected if he starts to get into things out of boredom. With a bit of daily mental stimulation, he’s content and happy. He’s a snuggler at heart and will happily curl up with you after some playtime. Sweets is still figuring out stairs, but he’s gained a lot of confidence with just a little encouragement. With continued patience and positive experiences, he’ll be navigating steps like a pro in no time.
